As a guide, we offer same day delivery to Cranebrook for orders placed Monday to Saturday, if placed by 2pm. All school deliveries will be delivered before 3pm. Business and residential deliveries will be delivered within business hours. Orders placed prior to 10am in most cases will be delivered before midday. Cranebrook is a large residential suburb located 50 kilometres west of Sydney's central business district, in the Greater Western Sydney region. The suburb is found to the north of bustling Penrith and to the south of rural Londonderry. Cranebrook's southern portion is largely suburban residential land while its northern portion is semi-rural and home to the expansive Wianamatta Nature Reserve.
Following European settlement, one of the area's earliest land grants was made to pioneer farmer James McCarthy in 1804, who named his property Crane Brooke Farm after the abundance of cranes found in the local environment. Originally an agricultural district, Cranebrook's southern portion gradually developed into a residential suburb in the latter half of the 20th century. Northern Cranebrook remains semi-rural. Wianamatta Nature Reserve was created in 2011.
Cranebrook's topography is relatively hilly, with many residents on its western side enjoying views across the Nepean River towards the Blue Mountains. Wianamatta Nature Reserve is located on The Northern Road, in the suburb's northeast. The Penrith Lakes are found west-adjacent to Cranebrook and are notable for being a film location for Mad Max: Fury Road. The Sydney International Regatta Centre and the Penrith Whitewater Stadium are located next to Cranebrook's southwestern boundary.
