Jordan Springs is a residential suburb located 53 kilometres west of Sydney`s central business district, in the Greater Western Sydney region. A relatively newly developed residential area, Jordan Springs is found between Werrington Downs to the south and Llandilo to the north. Jordan Springs is home to the expansive Wianamatta Regional Park. The suburb`s natural eastern border is South Creek.
Up until recently, the area that makes up the suburb today was largely bushland. In 2011, Jordan Springs was registered with the Geographical Names Board of New South Wales and the development of its streets, residential stock, parks, a town centre and a school ensued. In 2019, the suburb was expanded eastwards to South Creek, incorporating Wianamatta Regional Park and the central precinct of the St Marys Release Area, which had previously formed part of the suburb of Llandilo.
Wianamatta Parkway connects the suburb’s eastern and western residential districts. Jordan Springs Shopping Centre is found in the suburb`s west, next to Jordan Springs Lake and Jordan Springs Public School. Wianamatta Regional Park is an expansive bushland national park located in the suburb`s central portion.
